Introduction

An intermediate server which captures data transferred between client and server.

Configuration

No additional configuration supported.

Usage

Captures data transferred between client and server.

/<attr>/...
    The attribute from which to get information on how to capture
    (or not) data being transferred. The '...' is the spath for
    the next server(s) to connect to.

The attribute value must take one of the following forms:
fixed:<path0>:...
    Specifies fixed paths for connection fds, where path0
    corresponds to fd 0, etc. Specify empty paths to not capture.

Examples

Dump output from daytime service to file:

ruexec -a TEEOUT=fixed::/tmp/tee.out: +/tee/TEEOUT/+/debug/daytime

Notes:

  • TEEOUT is the attribute tee is to refer to
  • TEEOUT specifies to leave fds 0 (stdin) and 2 (stderr) alone, but capture fd 1 (stdout)
